INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

CIVIL SITE DESIGN

You will need a valid subscription or maintenance of Civil Site Design to update to V26.

Following installation, operation of the software should automatically switch your current V25 license to V26 (if you have a current Civil Site Design subscription/maintenance.

Subscription customers can obtain their V26 license keys, and manage their user access and licenses, directly from the Civil Survey Applications Customer Portal:

CUSTOMER CENTRE

This is a free, standalone application providing tools to create and manage language translations applying to Civil Site Design

V26.21 Software Changes

New Features:

Licensing
- Added new Advanced Tools form to the Settings tab that allows diagnostic tests to be run
  - DLL reference checker for all loaded DLLs
    - Network connection test for all needed URLs
    - External link validator for all external URLs that are requested from the server
- Added more detailed popups for common issues with links to Helpdesk articles to solve
- All external URLs used in the software are now retrieved using redirects, prevents future hardcoded URL issues
- Added extra button links to the Installation Guide on both the Activation and First Launch screens
- Added support for multiple activation strings to be used with the deployment command line parameter

Improvements:

Project Storage – Temp Folder document management
- We have improved data management and performance for storage of data versions when Project Storage is enabled.
Licensing
- Added startup check for required DLLs, checks conflicts with other plugins
- Updated Settings tab layout to support more settings/buttons
- Changed user account password byte storage to account for language issues
- Exceptions with WMI PC identification now result in a randomised computer ID
- Fixed issues with automatic deployment file reading

Bug Fixes:

Auto Ease Form
- Fixed a bug in BricsCAD resulting in an error message displaying when trying to open the Auto Ease form from the Resample String command.
Subgrade Model Manager
- Fixed an issue with the inclusion of Grading strings in Subgrade Model Manager. Gradings Strings were being removed and recreated when the subgrade model was rebuilt.
- When a Subgrade Model is created and edits are immediately applied, these are now being stored correctly when the Subgrade Model Manager form is closed.
